Privacy policy

Last updated 14 October 2026

Luminverse is an app for following Bible reading plans and writing your reflections. This page explains what the app keeps about you, where it is kept, and the choices you have.

In short

What the app keeps

If you create an account, these are stored so that your reading follows you from one device to another:

Your reflections are private. They are stored so that you can read them again; they are not read, analysed or used for any other purpose.

Emails we send

Every summary and news email has a link to stop it, and both can be switched off at any time in the app’s Settings.

Feedback you send

When you use “Send feedback” in the app, we receive your message, the email address you give (if any), the app’s version and your type of phone. We use these only to answer you and to fix problems.

If you read as a guest

Without an account, everything above stays on your device only. Nothing is sent to our server. Removing the app removes it.

What stays on your device

Where it is kept

Account information is kept on a server we run ourselves. A few other services help it work, and each handles only what its task requires:

Connections between the app and the server are encrypted.

Sharing

When you share a verse, a quotation or a reflection, the app hands the text to your phone’s own share sheet, and it goes only where you send it. We do not share your information with anyone else, unless the law requires it.

Your choices

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
